Zeitgeist refers to the defining spirit or mood of a period in history, and Aesthetics concerns the appreciation of beauty, culture and form. Together, Zeitgeist Aesthetics represents the study and preservation of the spirit of our time, documenting Nigerian cultural identity, indigenous languages and heritage so they can be transmitted to future generations.
Enculturation is the process by which people learn the values, norms, language and behaviour of their own culture. As Nigeria’s only Enculturation consultancy, we build practical programmes: research, broadcasting, school engagement and Culturepreneur clusters that help citizens acquire and retain their cultural identity in a rapidly globalising world.
Zeitgeist Aesthetics operates as a non-profit limited by guarantee. Our work is supported through partnerships with government agencies and international bodies, corporate social responsibility collaborations, grants tied to specific research and advocacy projects, and donations from individuals and philanthropic organisations. Our work spans five areas: the Adopt a School Initiative connecting underprivileged schools to donors; HIYA NIGERIA, a broadcast sensitisation programme in indigenous languages; indigenous language development in primary, secondary and technical schools; Culturepreneur clusters grooming cultural brain-workers for economic sustainability; and field research in indigenous languages promoting education tourism.

Our office is at 50 Ebitu Ukiwe St, Jabi, Abuja 900108, Federal Capital Territory (First Floor). We operate Monday to Saturday, 07:00–17:00 GMT, and our work extends across all 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
